Gallup Finds that Governor Palin Has the Highest “Strongly Favorable” Rating of All the Candidates Among Republican/Republican-Leaning Indies Who Recognize the Candidate/Open Thread

According to Gallup, the Governor has the highest “strongly favorable” rating of all the candidates among Republican and Republican-leaning independents who recognize the candidate:
Palin: 26%
Perry: 24%
Bachmann: 22%
Rudy: 22%
Romney: 17%
Here are the “strongly favorable” numbers among all all Republican and Republican-leaning indies (multiply the percentages highlighted above by the percentage who recognize the candidate)
Palin: 25%
Rudy: 20%
Bachmann: 17%
Romney: 15%
Perry: 13%
Michele Bachmann’s Gallup intensity rating has fallen by 25% since her debate while Mitt “peacetime” Romney’s Gallup intensity rating has fallen by over 26% since he foolishly announced that he was running for President. What their declines tell you is that neither Bachmann nor Romney are wearing well with Republican and Republican-leaning indies if their intensity ratings are falling at a time when neither has received incredibly tough press. Palin has pretty much remained steady at the same time that Bachmann and Romney have seen their poll numbers decline.
Even the Daily Kos pollster is showing that the Governor has the best net favorable rating among GOP primary voters in Michigan, one of Mitt “peacetime” Romney’s home states.
Palin: 64/24 [+40]
Romney: 61/23 [+38]
Bachmann: 51/22 [+29]
Perry: 40/13 [+27]
Mitt “peacetime” Romney’s net favorable rating among GOP primary voters has even fallen in Michigan by eight points since the last Daily Kos Michigan poll in March.
