GOP12 Concedes Governor Palin “is Still Sitting Up There [In the Polls] Without Much Effort”/Open Thread

I don’t doubt that Rick Perry has a double-digit lead over the field at the moment but even GOP12 is conceding the following:
c. Palin impresses. You know what? If not for Perry, she’d be in this race and would be Romney’s chief tea party rival. Already, she’s absorbed Bachmann’s mini-surge and is still sitting up there without much effort (getting on a bus and taking a walk at a fair, essentially).
I still think Palin will run….she’d be starting in a stronger position than Michele Bachmann, post-Ames, which is saying something, considering Bachmann had all the momentum awhile ago.
Peter Singleton told Shushanah Walshe that Palin’s grassroots army “will be many hundreds of thousands strong, 20 times what another candidate has…It will be an engaged grassroots base of sovereign citizens that will be [there for Palin] at the primary, the general election, and be her base for governing when she is in office.”
Erick Erickson is pretty shady.
Sheya slams Dick Morris.
She won’t be at Jim DeMint’s forum on September 5th.
What else is going on today?
