Mark Halperin Pretty Much Runs Away from His “Palin Will Endorse Perry” Tweet in Just 30 Minutes/Open Thread

Rick Perry will say something this weekend.  A ton of people re-tweeted this completely speculative tweet from Mark Halperin:

Candidate RPerry could end up w/ endorsements from his two friends Palin+Giuliani. That would give him Big Tent cred two top $ surrogates

All it took was thirty minutes for Halperin to pretty much run away from his “Palin will endorse Perry” tweet:

@GovernorPerry would certainly be in line for Rudy nod (returning ’08 favor),assuming Hizzoner doesn’t run himself. SP more iffy

In any event, this Facebook post from Governor Palin reads like a “I’m not endorsing Rick Perry” facebook post.

The left-wing Frances Martel from Mediaite concedes that Palin’s time as “governor of Alaska was commendable, and anyone who denies her that fact is either ignorant of her record or a slave to their ill will towards her” and that “[Palin] did a good job of running the Alaskan economy.”  She also effectively concedes that Governor Palin is qualified to run Exxon-Mobil.  If she’s qualified to run perhaps one of the most complex corporations in the world, then she surely is qualified to run the country.

Mercede Johnston and her supporters are so stupid that they probably doesn’t even realize that what she is claiming is that Governor Palin knew in fall of 2007 that she would be selected as the GOP vice-presidential nominee as fall of 2007 was when Track Palin joined the military.

What else is going on today?
