Perry Jumps In, Results Expected Soon in Straw Prize / Open Thread (Update: Bachmann Ekes Out Win)

So, Rick Perry, 61,  has now officially broken his promise not to run for the presidency.

Gov. Palin is in Illinois.

Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul are considered the favorites for victory in the Straw Poll.

Update: The results are in. Fewer than 200 votes (or less than one percentage point) separated Mini-Me (4823) from Let Iran Have the Bomb (4671). Tim Pawlenty was a distant third.
