Denver Post | Mitt Romney Should Release Tax Returns

Tough primary contests are supposed to prep candidates for the even tougher general election campaign. When it comes to publicly releasing his tax returns, that is apparently not the case for presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney.

After taking considerable heat for an unwillingness to release his returns, Romney in January said he would adhere to protocol for candidates established in 1967 when his father George Romney was seeking the GOP presidential nomination and released 12 years of returns

Except his offer is for two years — 2010 and 2011.
