In oral arguments before the Supreme Court on the constitutionality of President Obama’s signature health care law, the administration is pointing to Mitt Romney’s Massachusetts health care law as justification for the national effort.
“Think about how much it would cost to get the insurance when you are at the hospital or at the doctor. It would be — it would be unfathomably high, that will never work. Congress understood that. It chose a means that will work. The means that it saw work in the States and in the State of Massachusetts and that, and that it had every reason to think would work on a national basis,” government attorney Donald Verrilli told the justices.

Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine that the best we could seem to drum up to take on a President who will probably go down as being even the worst President next to Jimmy Carter was the man who couldn’t even beat McCain in the 2008 primary and gave us the pre-cursor to Obamacare. One so apparent, that even the administration uses as leverage.
